Star command ☝🏻🚀 Honestly I didn’t think I would enjoy this movie as much as I did. Buzz squad, amazing.

Honestly really surprised with this one, and maybe the most emotional Toy Story movie yet?

So meh cpared to the others, but they set high bar.
Buena. De las que más da risa de la saga. Me gustó que ahora nos enfocamos en Jessie. Como siempre con Pixar, nos deja con un mensaje valioso.
I'm going to be upfront about three things: I didn't like Toy Story, I absolutely could not STAND Bonnie, and Toy Story 2 + Jessie are my favorite aspects of Toy Story to this day. Now, with that being said, Toy Story 4 wasn't great. It's not horrible or bad, but it's weak. That's TWO TS movies that failed to meet my expectations, so, I was HIGHLY concerned for Toy Story 5. In fact, I wasn't going to watch it until streaming; however, my folks are visiting for Father's Day Weekend, so, why not?! WELL, HOLY. COW. From the marketing, I wouldn't have guessed that Woody... Is a SIDE CHARACTER?! But... It works? It's surprising, really, because these have always been about Buzz and Woody. Shifting the focus to Jessie was smart, sure, but it was handled WONDERFULLY WELL! The story focused on Jessie going through her very own journey BY HERSELF, only allowing for Woody's return to be nothing BUT organic and serve as that wise old experienced character who offers help and support when the character is down. What's more is that this movie WITHIN THE FIRST FEW MINUTES of Bonnie's initial screentime, my thoughts, opinions, and beliefs toward Bonnie RADICALLY changed and I felt for Bonnie. FINALLY, We get some semblance into who Bonnie is and what she's struggling with. UGH, MY HEART!!! Discovering MORE about Bonnie as the movie went on felt very Inside Out 1 coded, but was missing actually being inside her head. It's JUST A LITTLE WEIRD how much face value EVERYONE takes the things that happen in this movie. Furthermore, the messages are INSANELY hearthrobby. NOT A SINGLE DRY EYE in my theater—TAKE TISSUES. This might be my second favorite Toy Story movie behind TS2, which is controversial, but I'm a sucker for literally this movie.
i liked that Jesse was the main lead but it was kinda slow at some times
Enjoyed this one far more than I thought I would. I thought it was funnier than most kids movies and truly thought the integration of tablets and technology was a perfect idea, executed perfectly. Tons of social commentary in it for kids and parents as toys are essentially a thing of the past. Did not expect for this one to be as good as it was. That said, 1 rank the Toy Story movies 3, 1, 5, 2, 4. - @{user:8FC6C06C-3C2A-4D74-8226-FF0B9C3F1F59} 9/10 Pixar and Toy Story are back with another banger addition to one of their most beloved IPs. Toy Story 5 is a tear jerking film about human adolescence and questions how social is social media. But it highlights how physical our emotions around our lives are. Well, technology is existing and useful. Social media communities are fueled by algorithms creating information-silos purposely keeping the consumer and engage by causing them to feel left behind. Because human connection in the physical isn’t based on app interest or social media presents but connection is common human behavior the understandings of body language and social cues because understanding social cues and familiar behaviors and one another is something social media can’t do because humans are unpredictable with micro expressions and behavior and algorithms are predictable. A very beautiful story with strong social commentary behind it.
