Ugh its so sad. A mentor-student relationship will always get me, but one between women hits different as i’ve always wondered why this genre of film exists with attention to the male world but never to the female one, especially that in reality, women are always more affected with such matters. My own professors have left so big of an impact on me, i find myself following in their steps. I loved how the girl who was so reluctant to the teacher’s efforts from the very beginning became the one who most needed her and her support, and was the one affected most by her.
They had everything. She showed them more.
