For those who love the series, this movie delivered everything you’ve learned to expect and more; no homework needed. Favreau and Filoni crafted a fun adventure across the galaxy far far away that is filled with Star Wars lore without being weighed down by the Skywalker Saga. It’s a kids movie. Don’t forget that. It lacks the mature complexity of Andor, so it’s a simpler tale. That said, it perfectly expands the story of Mando and Grogu where you see growth for each character both separately and together. Rotta the Hutt was a welcomed surprise, and the work on all the other creatures was everything I want out of the franchise. The mix of CG, practical effects, puppetry, and stop-motion felt nostalgic, yet elevated for the modern audience. I loved the nods to other films, and the score is amazing.

As a fan of Star Wars, this is a fun summer movie that is enjoyable as a stand alone film. It shows the development of the relationship of the Mandalotian and Grogu, with some nice moments. However it does feel like a side quest rather than a main story.
This was a sad attempt at re-capturing the Star Wars fan base. I was worried this movie would cause fans to feel like the franchise has no direction - it does exactly that, in my opinion. A 2 hour and 12 min film that accomplishes nothing other than telling a side quest story. I had no interest in Rada Hutt. I had no interest in the twin hut story. I had no interest in pretty much anything the entire movie considering I checked my phone for the time about 10-12 times throughout. Such a fun summer film that needs to be seen by more people! Started off really strong hits a little bit of a rut, but ends on a high note. This is definitely a movie that you need to see in theaters with a fantastic score and a great story definitely one of the most surprising films of the year for us.
Como fan de Star Wars, puedo decir que, es una película hecha para fans de la saga. En lo personal, me pareció meramente una continuación de la serie de The Mandalorian, pero fue espectacular ver por fin las aventuras de Mando y Grogu en la gran pantalla. La cinematografía en general es buena, los efectos visuales son increíbles, y ni hablar de la musicalización, la banda sonora es una belleza, pero lo que más destaco en esta película es que no hay inclusiones forzadas (o por lo menos yo no las percibí), el guion es sorpresivamente bueno, tiene toques del Star Wars clásico, integraron el Cyberpunk con mucho cuidado y lograron causar empatía hacia los personajes. En algunos momentos me recordaba a Rogue One. Me agarró por sorpresa la participación de Martin Scorsese en esta película. En fin, this is the way…
No esta mala pero tampoco buenisima. Me gusto ver a Mandalorian on the big screen. Pero toda la pelicula es puro sidequest. Esta super messy el plot. Y se siente como si hubieran agarrado 3 episodios de la serie y los juntan. Dudo mucho que Pedro Pascal haya actuado mas de 15 minutos porque senti muy diferente el personaje de Mando. En general esta mid pero no esperaba mucho después de las mierdas de peliculas que ha sacado Disney con Star Wars. Martin Scorsese que chingados haces ahi.
