Me encantó.
"I was — to be frank — a spoiled, miserable, narcissistic, self-destructive and thoughtless young lout, and badly in need of a good ass-kicking."

This movie was made during the grey area between too soon and the right time for a movie or about Anthony Bourdain so I wasn’t sure I would want too see it for I’m not a big fan of his. But the reason I wanted to see it is the mentor & teacher relationship of Chef & Tony and that is the best part of the movie. Lovely film.

I will admit, I anticipated more cooking or at least something similar to S1 of The Bear but I think I was pleasantly surprised at the plot. It was a fun, chaotic and energetic ride to see Anthony’s life as a youth as he begun his kitchen career. I’d fully recommend this movie for anybody interested in his life or who loves to cook.
A 19-year-old Anthony Bourdain travels to Provincetown and stumbles into the chaotic world of a restaurant kitchen, setting off a summer that will shape the course of his life.
