If you know the story of The Odyssey you know what to expect! It definitely takes the story that almost everyone knows and puts a little modern spin on it given the casting, music and dialogue. For the most part this was an extremely entertaining film, and yes, we saw it in IMAX. The action scenes were truly amazing, the acting for the most part was fantastic and you really feel like you were immersed in the period in regard to the location, clothing and set pieces. Not to mention how beautiful the film was shot. What kept this from being perfect for us was the pacing in some spots. We know this is a modern day epic but some of the scenes seemed a little drawn out for our liking. Additionally, some actors felt a little out of place just to have “big names” in the role. Don’t get us wrong, it was so cool seeing such a stacked cast but it did take us out of the story a little bit. Needless to say, this will go down as a classic film that will be in the cinema zeitgeist for years to come. This type of film is not made anymore and was truly fun to watch on the largest screen we were able to see it on. Don’t miss out on this absolute epic of a film and take part in the phenomenon that is Christopher Nolan’s, The Odyssey!

Absolute cinema, the movie of the year
Nolan did it again. Keep letting him cook. Oddyseus es el personaje mas tough in all of cinema.
A movie of this scale deserves a good rating. I don’t care about the bad reviews. The picture quality is out of this world.
couldn’t stop watching, my eyes were glued to the screen. Absolute cinema, “don’t try to understand it, just feel it”
Moana meets the lion king si o no? Que pedazo de cast quede en shock!!
Yes, I saw it two days in a row. And yes, it was even better to me the second time around. It’s all I’ve thought about since seeing it the first time. Anything negative I felt about it, is just me being selfish. This is a masterpiece in all aspects.
