I'm not gonna say is overated, cause I think is not, I mean, kind of good and beautiful, greig fraser did a great job visually. This is the perfect role ever made to Ryan Gosling, absolutly the flashblacks scenes were my "favourite parts" of the movie. I really liked Sandra Huller's character (great actrees btw). I think it doesn't take risks and I think's the worst factor of the movie. But overall it's a really good and funny movie.

Super “hot take” pero está BIEN. La historia me conmovió, gustó, etc. La temática y creatividad fue lo que más me llamó la atención de la película. Sin embargo, creo que tuvo muy mal ritmo. Ya la ví dos veces y aún así, seguí sintiendo partes que eran demasiado lentas pero porque no aportaban nada a la historia (la primera vez me quedé dormido en partes).
Project Hail Mary surprised me in the best way. What could have been just another space survival story felt much bigger because of how strong it was technically and emotionally. The cinematography creates a sense of isolation and wonder at the same time, making space feel both beautiful and terrifying. The visual effects are stunning without ever overshadowing the story, and the production design makes every detail feel believable and immersive!
I loved this film for a lot of reasons. Rocky, the visual effects, and the emotional effect it had on me. The fishing scene on Tau Ceti was insane along with multiple other instances in space. The relationship we build with Rocky and Grace was ultimately what carried the movie for me. Not quite better than Interstellar for me, but slightly better than The Martian if I were to rank space films.
