Those 4 years of misery and crippling loneliness for peter were his destruction that were fated to signal his rebirth.. You must move on and you must let go, you must surrender to change.. and this really put the last 4 years of my life into perspective.
I couldn’t have watched this at a more perfect time: i was tearing up at the theatre, particularly at peter and jeans’ scene, and you rarely catch me tearing up in movies. Perhaps it was the continuous 12 hours of peter plastered on my screen, to the point where i couldn’t think of anything outside his world.
I really really enjoyed jean’s character, it was purposefully villainous and intricate in depth, also a female character of marvel depicted as a human rather than an object.
