Compelling, engaging, and in some ways kind of terrifying - The Social Reckoning demonstrates the impact Facebook and similar sites have had on our society. Forcing viewers to consider the nuance of many topics such as free speech, platforming, and social responsibility- the movie is not only a great watch but gives the audience a lot to think about. Admittedly - the film doesn’t quite capture the magic of its spiritual successor The Social Network, and it does have some flaws - but overall I thought this was a great watch and definitely worth a trip to the theatre
