Digger

Almost immediately Digger lets you know this film isn’t what you think it is. On the surface the movie is about an oil tycoon who accidentally (but stupidly) causes a catastrophic event… But to say that’s just the top layer would be an epic understatement.   Surprisingly, Digger provides a lot of social commentary and points the finger at today’s society, elites, and the frankly the audience itself while forcing you to think about the roles we all play in what goes wrong in the world. While this film DEFINITELY isn’t for everyone, it’s a unique piece of art and an epic swing for the fences that I appreciate and would love to see more of from the film industry today
