Fun and full of gore. The shorter runtime was the perfect length for a proper video game thrill ride. It’s got plenty of humor and the stakes don’t feel too high despite a world-ending epidemic about to happen. If you’re a fan of the games, the story is obviously different than you’d expect but the first and third-person camera angles and classic Resident Evil tropes will make it feel familiar.
