In the spirit of the World Cup I figured I’d finally watch Blue Lock and man I was not disappointed. While it has its flaws and sometimes a bit convenient, it has arguably some of my favorite animation, especially towards the end when it becomes almost cinematic rather than normal animation. I cant wait for next season to drop in 2027 to watch more of Isagi and the U20 team take on the World Cup.
