Jimmy hasn't slept with worry fearing he has killed Rakesh and is nervous about what Rakesh will say if he comes round. Nicola tells him to say it was self-defence but Jimmy worries he'll go to prison and his children will grow up fatherless. Chrissie attempts to build bridges with Lawrence but he's not interested. Ronnie offers to accompany Chrissie to lunch instead and they settle on coffee and cake.

Ronnie is lead out of The Woolpack by PC Swirling. Lawrence questions why Chrissie called the police. She insists Lawrence can't trust Ronnie as he stole the digger, just as Adam drives the digger down Main Street. Chrissie is speechless.

At the prison, Jason tells Aaron jog on. Jason's mate Barry recognises Aaron from his previous time behind bars and offers Aaron some drugs, calling him Livesy, although Aaron insists it's Dingle. Priya calls round at the factory and informs Jai, Rishi and Nicola that she has a job interview for a senior role at a rival firm.

Aaron lies in bed with tears in his eyes. Meanwhile, at The Woolpack, Robert has slept on the sofa but hides the duvet when he hears Victoria approaching.

Paddy appears at The Woolpack to take Liv to see Aaron and thanks Robert for giving up his visit so he can go. Meanwhile, at the prison, Aaron is in pain. Finn stares at the tickets he booked for him and Kasim to go to Australia.

Rebecca collects some of Chrissie's belongings from Home Farm and tells Lawrence that Ronnie is lying. Rebecca grabs a pair of pink fluffy hand cuffs out of Chrissie's bag and phones her sister, lying that Lawrence will be out all morning. At Smithy Cottage, Rhona bakes a cake for Leo's school bake sale. Vanessa appears in the kitchen and Rhona flaunts her engagement ring and forces reluctant Vanessa into helping Pierce complete the cake.

Pierce suggests to Rhona that they skive off work. Tracy asks Rhona to keep Pearl distracted as she's taking pictures of David for the cover of her book. Tracy jokes that she might join David behind the camera. Rhona wonders what would happen to the video if they split up. Ronnie has stayed at Wishing Well Cottage.

Pierce is angered after listening to the voicemail and is off with Rhona. He asks Rhona if she trusts him as it looked like she may delete their sex tape earlier. Pierce questions if she's getting cold feet but Rhona can't understand why he's being like this. David assures Jacob that the tests are a formality but that doesn't calm Jacob's fears.

Vanessa reminds Rhona she can tell her anything as Pierce returns from his run. Pierce tells Vanessa that he and Rhona are booking their honeymoon today and asks her to pick up the slack at work. Laurel makes excuses when Arthur asks when they can visit Ashley again. Sandy isn't sure stalling is the best way to deal with the situation but Laurel has no idea how to explain things to the children.

Rhona flicks through a bridal magazine in the café. She had hoped Vanessa would help her pick out her wedding dress so Pierce offers to help instead. Gabby tells Liv about Ashley and Maggie. Gabby receives a text from Josh and Liv advises her to block him but instead Gabby decides to meet up later. Rishi orders Jai to sort himself out.

Robert receives a phone call from Aaron's barrister notifying him of the appeal date. He opens a letter addressed to Aaron from Liv's school. Gabby double checks with Laurel that she'll be out all day. Robert shows Victoria the letter from the school fining them £60 due to Liv's lack of attendance.

Laurel says sorry to Gabby for slapping her. Gabby apologises too, admitting she shouldn't have brought boys over or been drinking but she refuses to talk about having sex. Laurel insists they'll have to tell Bernice. Laurel inquires if yesterday was Gabby's first time. In the café, Liv looks through comments that Josh has posted online about having sex with Gabby.

Robert is stressed and worried about Aaron, especially as the prison won't tell him anything. Marlon is becoming fed up of Carly's possessions strewn all over the living room especially when April comes across a mouldy sandwich amongst things, as well as a sex toy in one of the boxes. Zak tells Lisa that he's booked her and Belle into the salon as he's going to wine and dine her tonight.

Robert tells Aaron about Liv's recent problems, blaming him. Aaron insists Liv will be fine, leading Robert to question if he and Liv mean anything to him. Aaron apologises and explains drugs were found in his cell yesterday but he managed to convince the guards it was nothing to do with him.

Robert hands Liv a textbook and orders to stick to the same timetable as school. Liv asks if Aaron hates her for telling him about the drugs, but Robert states they can get him help now. He assures Liv that as long as nobody else knows about the drugs, it won't affect the appeal. Robert receives a call from Rebecca but ignores it.

After Alicia tells her everything that happened that night, Chrissie immediately confronts Lachlan, who continues to lie. Will she betray her own son and go to the police? Laurel snaps at Doug, threatening that he won't see the kids again if he tells Marlon about her drinking problem, while Bob is pleased to hear Carly plans on sticking around. Pearl panics when Paddy needs to check the bank accountsIt's Marlon's birthday and Carly gifts him a cookbook and a pizza oven. In the pub backroom, Chas stares at a picture of Aaron and Robert. Liv is hopeful about the appeal. Robert appears and Liv questions where he was last night. Harriet feels awful for not visiting Ashley before now and Jimmy assures her it doesn't make her a horrible person.

Carly has slept in the spare room and Marlon insists there was no reason to. He states he could never think something like that about Billy and Carly accepts she said some terrible things. Bob calls round at Tall Trees Cottage to check up on April and Carly. Harriet tells Doug about Ashley asking to go home.

Carly frantically searches Tall Trees Cottage for her passport; she comes across it in the kitchen. Marlon returns from the shop with Bernice who gives Carly her tip from the hen party.

Laurel is worried sick about Ashley's whereabouts. Jimmy and Bob vow they won't stop searching until Ashley is found. At Butlers Farm, Emma shows Moira that leaflets for the psychic evening that have been plastered over the village.

Emma and Faith fight over the microphone and Emma begs Faith not to do this. Pete is forced to drag Emma away after she shouts she's sorry. David asks Faith is his mum's spirit is coming through but Faith fends him off saying she can't chose which spirits want to talk to her, resulting in boos from the audience.

Ashley has still not been found. Laurel insists they need to get inside Ashley's head to figure out where he's gone. Sandy suggests their old house, and Diane the training parish but Laurel explains the police have already checked them.

Marlon attempts to get hold of Carly without any luck. He eventually manages to get through to her just as she walks into Tall Trees Cottage. Marlon is delighted until Carly breaks the news that she's taking the job in Malaga.

Bob calls Carly begging for her to get in contact. Marlon is struggling with Carly's departure and snaps at Bernice. He wonders how he'll break the news to April.

April isn't talking to Carly so Bob suggests Carly tell her about Billy to make her understand things but Marlon isn't sure. Moira shows Harriet and Cain the article about Holly in the Hotten Courier. She hopes it might help someone like Holly.
