In the café, Bernice is excited about singing at a family talent show to cheer up Laurel. Arthur asks Doug what he's going to do but he doesn't want to say too much. Diane reveals he's made a penny whistle out of a carrot

ai sees the jacket he lent to Nell on a chair and asks the Group Leader if she's seen her. He notices his wallet is missing. Laurel receives a phone call notifying her that Ashley has collapsed and has been taken to hospital.

Ashley is distressed to wake up in the hospital and tries to remove his oxygen mask. Faith has made Moira breakfast but she's aware Faith is trying to get round her. Faith mentions she has an appointment with a Consultant later and agrees to tell Chas about the cancer to stop Moira's nagging.

With Debbie busy getting things for Sarah, Faith helps round the farm. Laurel sits at Ashley bedside. Tracy is still receiving negative comments about her book and can't understand why as she's edited Pearl's parts of the book out.

Neither Laurel nor Sandy have slept as they struggle to come to terms with the fact that Ashley doesn't have long left. Sandy is saddened that Dotty will never know Ashley, but Laurel insists she'll make sure Dotty knows all about him.

At the vets surgery, Paddy ask Vanessa not to make things worse but she is adamant Rhona has a right to know about the video. Rhona questions what they are talking about so Vanessa blurts out that Pierce didn't delete the sex tape. Gabby has spent the night at Brook Cottage. Laurel calls round and Bernice tells her they'll be round to see Ashley later.

It's the day Aaron is to be released from prison and he's ecstatic. Vanessa calls round at Smithy Cottage to check up on Rhona and apologises again, but Rhona is having none of it. Pierce appears to collect some clothes and Vanessa warns Rhona not to let Pierce talk his way out of this.

Robert apologises profusely to Aaron and begs him to say something. Aaron asks what he was thinking and Robert says he wasn't. Aaron apologises for punching Robert and Robert realises Aaron doesn't know that he slept with Rebecca.

Laurel reads Ashley her extract from the memory book. She tells him he's home now. Ashley's friends prepare to visit him. Jai reminds Rishi he has a meeting with a client but Rishi decides to cancel it and visit Ashley instead.

Ashley's body is removed from Mulberry Cottage and placed into a private ambulance. Arthur places a pirate hat in with Ashley and says goodbye to his dad. Bernice tries to comfort Gabby but she walks off.

Robert arranges to meet Rebecca at Mill Cottage to talk about her pregnancy. Aaron is nervous about his counselling session. Victoria explains to Aaron that she's bought a pregnancy test so she'll take it with Adam tonight.

Aaron and Robert go running together but Robert fails to make it past the park due to cramp. As Aaron runs on ahead, Robert spots Rebecca and asks if she has booked her abortion yet. Faith sits down with Rishi in the café and tempts him into putting a nip of alcohol in his tea. Rebecca calls round at Dale View and apologises to Ross.

It's the day of Ashley's funeral. Laurel sits on the stairs and stares at family photos. Diane, Doug and Bernice call round at Mulberry Cottage. At the church, Harriet begins to say the Lord's Prayer but stops and admits to God that she isn't sure she's up to this. Aaron's probation officer has given him the okay to travel to Mauritius.

At the graveside, Harriet struggles to hold back the tears as Ashley's coffin is committed to the ground. Gabby stops Harriet and throws a white rose onto the coffin and says goodbye. Faith explains to Sarah that she could have an operation to give her fake breasts. Sarah inquires if Faith has scars and explains when she has her operation she'll also have scars but Debbie insists she has to be proud of them. Sarah states not having boobs doesn't matter as she got better.

Laurel stands at Ashley's grave and talks to him. Harriet appears and Laurel explains she dreamt she was with Ashley and felt safe. She spots Ashley's cassock in Harriet's bag and sees the burn mark. Harriet apologises and tells her she's going to try to get it mended. Emma suggests all her boys go to church together as a family.

Cain is still at the police station. PC Swirling brings him a sandwich and some juice, warning him he'll be here for a while. Back in the village, Sarah asks Harriet about joining the choir although Debbie is unsure as Sarah is supposed to be resting her throat. Debbie mentions to Harriet that Sarah wants to see her grandfather but Cain is still at the police station making Harriet feel guilty.

Harriet ushers Cain out of Woodbine Cottage. They are nearly caught by Paddy, who inquires what Cain is doing so early in the morning. Cain cheekily remarks he's been knocking off the vicar; Paddy assumes he's joking. Rhona still feels awkward about people seeing the sex tape and is reluctant to look at one of the cows at Butlers Farm as Adam will be there.

Bob gives Emma a freebie by way of thanking her for sorting his sore back but Emma warns Bob to go easy on the spray as it's as strong as it gets. Victoria assures Adam that him being infertile doesn't change a thing but Adam insists it changes everything. He worries about the other issues he could have if he does have Klinefelter syndrome.

Rhona and Pierce discuss the lack of family at their wedding. Pierce reveals that his mum binned the invites he sent to his family. Nicola encourages Jimmy to see if he can go to Pierce's stag-do as she insists they needs to start mingling with more professional couples. Tracy tells David and Leyla that she's invited her fans to the shop today. Leyla spots some comments that David didn't post and conclude there's actually fans coming today so they try to talk Tracy into cancelling the event.

Pierce is shocked to come face-to-face with his mother Martha and is annoyed Vanessa has stuck her nose into his business again although Vanessa questions why Pierce is lying to Rhona. Martha is hopeful that Pierce will give her a chance and Rhona wonders why Pierce lied to her. Pierce walks out of the pub and Martha chases after him.

It's the middle of the night and Pierce can't sleep on the sofa. Rhona appears in her dressing gown and tells him she hasn't slept as she hates them rowing.

It's Rhona and Pierce's wedding day. Carly calls round at Smithy Cottage with a bottle of fizz to help Rhona get ready. Meanwhile, Pierce phones Gavin to check everything is on track. In the café, Frank helps Megan prepare for a business meeting.

Terrified Rhona lies on the floor whilst Pierce gets redressed. At The Woolpack, everyone, bar Paddy, is having a good time at the wedding reception. Pierce asks Rhona to get up. When she doesn't, he sits down next to her and offers her a glass of water.

At the Sexual Assault Referral Centre, Rhona has a shower and stares at her bruise covered body. In the café, Lydia overhears Lisa and Kerry discussing the cleaners walking out of the factory due to Nicola. Kerry and Lisa joke that one of the workers have recorded a song about Nicola but misplaced the CD somewhere in the factory.
