Tyler is banned from The Waterhole under Tom Quills orders. Imogen protests that the punishment is too extreme especially since its her fault. But Daniel thinks Imogen doth protest too much, and wonders why shes getting so fired up about it. Imogen tells him its because Tylers a friend. Despite finding it odd, Daniel takes this on face value.

The Willis family is surprised to learn that Brad has been contacted by a former coaching client, Brodie Chaswick, who wants to come to the house to talk to all of them. The Willises speculate that he wants to apologise for his past misdeeds, which include him accusing Brad and Josh of cheating with steroids.

Taking over from a sick Sonya, Aaron coordinates testing of the sandwiches, convinced theyre the source of the poisoning. When Daniel quizzes Lauren, she insists she wasnt responsible, and his suspicion falls on Paul, but he too denies any involvement.

When Jimmy hurts his arm in a game of backyard cricket, Amy has every faith that Nene will be able to treat him. However, Kyle clocks Nenes hesitation when shes given the call to action. When she makes some questionable treatment choices, Kyle manages to convince Amy to take Jimmy over to Karl just to be on the safe side.

Mediation day is here and Stephs nerves threaten to get the better of her. Knowing the stakes are high, Steph privately wrestles with whether or not to contact Philippas aggrieved ex-husband, who would be sure to cast aspersions on Philippas character.

Amy is feeling guilty about her decision to keep the contents of Georgias letter from Kyle. Sheila advises her to let it go and move on, but Amy seeks reassurance from Kyle, reminding him hes still technically married.

After being chastised by Tyler for flirting with him, Imogen is back next morning making breakfast for Daniel in a defiant display of attentiveness to her boyfriend. Uneasy with the situation, Tyler asks Daniel if the love-birds have thought about moving in together its the logical next step in their relationship, surely.

Steph is anxiously awaiting Charlies arrival. Its a trial visit, and Steph is scared if it doesnt go well then Philippa and Max wont let Charlie return. Mark reassures Steph itll be fine. They finish working on the bike Stephs doing up for Charlie, but when he finally arrives, things dont go well.

After an afternoon of passion, and a gormless comment from Tyler, Mark is unsure about where he stands with Steph. Steph confides in Amy that shes worried Mark is uncomfortable that her last relationship was with a woman.

After being confronted by Amys friends, a distraught Nene seeks out Paul, begging for help. She fears Amy will now think shes unstable, and she wants Paul to convince her not to abandon her. A worried Paul cautiously agrees to talk to Amy.

Karl, Amy and Kyle agree that Nene must come clean to Brad about what shes done to Doug. Nervous, and with support around her, she does. Karl offers that Brad is in within his rights to make a complaint about Nene, but Brad thinks Doug should decide after Nene tells him to his face that she manipulated him.

Love hasnt been kind to Imogen and Paige. Imogen is insecure at Daniels decision to take a relationship break, while Paige works to push away the pain of losing Mark. Doug tries to rally the girls but tensions spill over when Paige tries to set up Imogen with a handsome stranger.

Sonya deals with the fallout from the Aaron corruption scandal. She wants to put it all behind her, but Toadie makes her realise that crimes have been committed and she has to report them to the police. She does, but the whole process is unpleasant.

Brad is stressed when Piper spends the night away from home with Brodie. Some gentle advice from Lauren puts Piper back on the right path, intent on returning to her family in spite of Brodie’s attempts at emotional manipulation. But when Brad and Terese confront the couple, things get heated and Piper is pushed back to Brodie, who has a shock suggestion.

Piper comes to the garage to ask Tyler for money - but when he learns its so she can run away to Perth with Brodie, he refuses. Piper stalks off, determined to push past her niggling doubts about being leaving town. Later at Harolds, Tyler sees Brodie and asks him to rethink taking Piper away from her family.

At a roadside stop, Piper stalls for time after discovering Brodie has taken her phone, replied to text messages and has organised a share-house for them in Perth. Realising her boyfriend has lost all sense of reality, she manages to text Tyler who drops everything and comes to pick her up.

Susan and Karl express their dismay over Ben and Xanthes antics but Ben is quick to insist he had no idea the drink was alcoholic Xanthe didnt tell him. Susan decrees that Ben is not to see Xanthe or Piper while hes in Erinsborough the girls are trouble and will only lead him astray.

Josh is disappointed when Brad isnt immediately supportive of his decision to move to Queensland to be with Matilda. He goes to Lassiters to tell Terese, hoping for a better response, and winds up crossing swords with Daniel when he gives Josh a hard time for being immature and impulsive.

The aftermath of the Lassiters explosion Karl knocks on a hotel room door and were astounded as the occupant of the room is revealed to be Sarah Beaumont. It begs the question whats going on here. Karls eager to get Sarah out of the hotel, but she sprained her ankle during the explosion. Susan, meanwhile, phones Karl, checking on his wellbeing.

Fallout from the Lassiters explosion continues when the door of Room 501 opens to reveal a confused Doug - and we soon discover the young man trying to evacuate him from the building is none other than Brads estranged son, Ned - visiting at Dougs request in the hope of achieving a family reconciliation.

Having lost his son and his father in the same afternoon, Brad is emotionally at sea which is why having found Ned in the shadows of Dougs death, hes so keen to hang on to him. The two men dont really know each other anymore, a fact brought home by Neds awkwardness around his father. When Lauren spies a distinctive tattoo on Neds chest, she becomes cautious of him.

With the tragedy unfolding, Kyle’s hesitant to leave, but explains to Sheila that he has to follow his heart and go be with Georgia. Kyle offers Amy the business and has a tough time of explaining his departure to Jimmy. When he says his final farewells, everyone is devastated to see he and Bossy go.

When Steph presents to Paul the incriminating evidence that she found inside his briefcase, Paul realises that someone is trying to frame him for the Lassiters explosion. Desperate, he enlists Nenes help, asking her to corroborate on a false alibi with him. Despite Nenes reservations, her soft spot for Paul gets the better of her and she plays along with the lie.

The community are still rocked by the explosion at Lassiters. Terese is shell-shocked at losing her son and Brad, who also lost his dad, comes over to offer support. When Brad discovers Paul Robinson has been taken in for questioning by the police he assumes the worst. Paul is responsible for the explosion. Terese defends Paul and protests his innocence.
