Roxy and Harlow lie to their guardians to visit David in the hospital, and Finn is suspicious of Claudias intentions. Paul and Terese debate the ethics of moving David up the transplant list, and Aaron asks Dipi for help in finding a donor. Conflict looms as they all try to help David.

Finn is torn between his love for Bea and his complicated history with Elly. Toadie suggests a Christmas concert fundraiser in Sonyas name, while Hendrix is feeling down due to his broken heart over Chloe. Claudia talks to Paul about Elly and suggests using Finns loyalty to her advantage

Claudia and Ellys conversation reveals tension between them, as Claudia is interested in Ellys ex-Finn. Pierce and Hendrix try to make amends, while Finn is worried about Claudia and Ellys relationship and decides to put a stop to it. Chloe shows Toadie her poster for the Christmas concert, but he is not happy with it.

Elly is trying to remain positive despite Claudias grandchild fantasies, while Bea is rattled by Claudias manipulations. Yashvi apologises to Chloe and Pierce and quits her job to focus on her police entrance exam. Amy worries about Davids infection and her relationship with Kyle, while Toadie and Ned work on a wall design with personal significance to Toadie.

Amy confronts Liam over his failure to inform her about Jimmys disappearance, and the group continues to search for him. Meanwhile, Roxy discovers she is a match for Davids kidney, and Kyle offers to take Amy to the airport. Just as the group is at their wits end, Jimmy suddenly appears safe and sound, much to everyones relief.

Sheila tries to make Jimmys birthday special, but he rejects her efforts and locks himself in his room. Worried, Amy and Gary investigate and discover that money is missing from her purse. Paul and Terese leave Erinsborough to make a fake drive, while Harlow plans to visit her father. At the hospital, Robert arrives heavily chained and is introduced to David

Paul has a nightmare about Robert, which unsettles him. Terese comforts him, while Finn visits David in the hospital. Amy and her friends search for Jimmy, and find him with his girlfriend Maya at the Backpackers Retreat. Meanwhile, Paul and Terese talk to Harlow about visiting David.

The Brennan family faces a difficult situation when David needs a kidney transplant. Despite their initial hesitations, Terese and Paul forgive each other for past wrongdoings and come together to support David. With the help of the doctors, David is given a second chance at life, and Paul is given a second chance to make amends.

The family is relieved when Elly gives birth to a healthy baby girl, and as a tribute to Ellys late husband, Shaun, they name the baby Aster. However, the celebration is short-lived as Ned informs Leo about the police being called to Ramsay Street because Robert has taken someone hostage. Leos immediate concern is for his brother, David, who needs a kidney transplant urgently

Elly and Finn struggle with their feelings for each other after a one-night stand, while Chloe and Pierce visit David in the hospital. Chloes visit to Ellys place to give Aster a gift highlights the deep emotional connections between the characters and the impact of one event on their lives.

Kirsha is welcomed home by her family and friends, while Toadie and his children spend time together. Kyle reveals that he and Amy have broken up, and Toadie tries to console him. Meanwhile, Hendrix and Yashvi go on a date, and Pierce and Chloe arrive for the party at The Waterhole

Toadie sat on the couch, watching a video of Sonya that Piper had sent him. Kyle was asleep beside him, unaware of the emotional moment. In the video, Sonya talked about her New Years resolution of cherishing every moment with her family. Toadie was moved to tears by her words.

Paul is struggling with Amys departure, but Terese reminds him that there will be plenty of people around to keep him in line. Meanwhile, Roxy is taking care of David at Erinsborough Hospital and is feeling guilty for her past behavior towards him. Harlow confesses to Paul and Terese that she emailed Prue about everything thats been happening, but Paul warns her not to expect a response.

Kyle attempts to kiss Roxy, but she pushes him away and leaves. She is frustrated by the fact that guys assume she is interested in them just because they hang out for a few minutes. Finn wakes up to Aster crying and offers to help Elly settle the baby. After trying everything, Aster finally stops crying in Finns arms, and Elly falls asleep next to him.

Susan confronts Elly and Finn about their secret relationship. Elly pleads with Susan to keep quiet about it, while Finn tries to take the blame. However, Susan warns Finn that he cannot hurt Bea, whom he still loves. Paul is desperately trying to convince David not to visit Robert, the man who gave him a kidney. Despite Pauls efforts, David is determined to keep his promise and visit Robert.

Karl is cooking on the BBQ, while Finn is quiet, and Susan gives him a side eye when he confirms hes happy with his decision to move into Beas room. Hendrix complains about Asters crying at night and is sent to get a BBQ plate from Karl and Susans bedroom.

Lucy wants to hire someone with more experience and lock them into a five-year contract. However, if Chloe can impress Lucy in the next two weeks, Lucy will reconsider. Chloe is worried that she will fail, but her colleague Pierce tells her that it is an opportunity to prove herself.

Pierce returns after looking for Anita, who refused to discuss the situation with him. He berates Chloe and Terese for what they have done, but Terese defends Chloes efforts and claims that she needed a confidence boost. Terese goes to find Anita and explain the situation, leaving Chloe and Pierce alone.

Chloe was taken aback when she overheard Pierce expressing doubts about her ability to manage the hotel to Terese. Feeling hurt and embarrassed, she quickly left the scene. However, Pierce continued to talk with Terese and acknowledged that Chloe had the capability to handle the job but needed some support and development.

Nell goes missing, and her father Toadie, uncle Shane and Kyle all search for her. They eventually find her at the Community Centre, where a mural of her deceased mother Sonya has been painted. Toadie is moved by the mural, and they all agree to visit and remember Sonya there.

Dipi and Shane have a conversation about Roxy, which reveals Dipis suspicions about Shanes relationship with Roxy. Dipi is skeptical about Shanes claim that he is only being a good mate to Roxy. She thinks Roxy has too much control over Shane, and she is concerned about their age difference.

Tensions rise between Dipi and Shane as she confronts him about his relationship with Roxy. Dipi believes that Roxy is causing Shane trouble at work and that he is spending too much time with her, causing strain on their marriage. Shane denies any romantic involvement with Roxy and dismisses Dipis concerns, causing her to become frustrated and upset.
