Georgia’s hearing at the hospital looms and she’s hopeful they’ll take her back. But her preparation is all for naught when Toadie reveals that it’s been postponed indefinitely. Georgia discovers the delay is due to the hullabaloo surrounding the announcement of Nick’s cancer research centre. Once again she’s been thwarted by him. Reaching her breaking point, she goes to dramatic lengths.

Moving forward with his plan to have Karl succeed him as Mayor, Paul inadvertently rouses Sue’s suspicions when she at first clocks one of Paul’s cancer medications, then finds Karl perusing council minutes. When Karl alerts Paul that Sue may have an inkling he’s sick, Paul, already reeling from his first experience of hair loss due to the chemo, is forced to take matters into his own hands.

Lauren breaks the news about Matt’s corruption to the kids. To Paige’s surprise, Amber is not angry at her father. She’s realised he made mistakes like everyone else, he was human, and it makes her miss him more. When Daniel visits, devastated about Paul’s illness and how it was kept a secret from him, Amber is beginning to reconsider her decision to keep her pregnancy a secret.

After being mildly injured while playing basketball, much to Imogen’s amusement, Tyler tries to initiate the date Imogen promised him. Unfortunately she’s too busy but offers to plan their date herself and let Tyler know when it can happen. However, when Toadie unexpectedly gives Imogen the day off, she texts Tyler. He discovers the date is on today, and Nate notes how smitten he is with her.

Imogen and Tyler return from their paint-balling date. One thing leads to another, and they find themselves kissing. But as things get hot and heavy, Imogen panics and breaks away, leaving Tyler disappointed. Imogen turns to Paige for advice, admitting she always thought her first time would be with her forever guy. Paige gives her a new perspective, advising her that Imogen has the control.

Lauren doesn’t know how to handle Bailey’s acting out and turns to Brad for advice. Terese is unsettled when she sees how comfortable Brad is slipping into the role of man-of-the-house for Lauren, and how much Lauren is inclined to rely on him, even ignoring Lou’s advice. When Bailey finally comes home, Lauren is shaken by how defiant he is.

Josh can’t help feeling for Danni when she’s harassed by Imogen while walking past Harold’s. Danni’s told she’s not welcome anywhere near there (Harold’s being the Turner family business). When Josh later sees Danni at the site of the accident, he stops to let her know that he understands what she’s going through, and that he’s willing to listen if she needs to talk.

Terrified that his secret will be revealed, Nick insists on overseeing Paul’s care when he’s admitted to the hospital. Karl is puzzled by Nick’s insistence, as is Georgia. Karl wonders why, if there was a chance Paul might come down with pneumonia, he wasn’t getting care. Nick covers by saying Paul’s a bad patient and Karl can’t disagree.

When Paul’s world is turned upside down yet again, it’s Naomi who is by his side. Managing the people around him, creating space for him to breath and reassuring him when his mind and heart are a mess. So much so, that when Brennan witnesses them together, he jumps to the wrong conclusion that they are in fact an item. Naomi asserts that they are just friends and colleagues.

In the middle of a kissing session, Imogen gets a text and heads for home – cancelling her date with Tyler and leaving him frustrated. He expresses his annoyance to Nate and his mood gets worse when he sees Imogen hugging Daniel. But Imogen is apologising for her uncle’s behaviour, and a thoughtful Daniel tells her it’s not her fault. Tyler eventually admits to Nate that he’s a bit suspicious.

Following Nick’s arrest, Imogen seeks support from Paige and Amber, and as they rally around her, they’re unaware of the other issue adding to her torment – that of her re-awakened feelings for Daniel and the fact they spooked her so much, she made plans to sleep with Tyler. When Imogen ‘casually’ informs Paige of her plans with Tyler, Paige is a little taken aback and queries her.

Terese is battling anger and sadness after what happened with Nick, and Brad suggests she take the day off and let him help her get over it. She agrees. They have a picnic, where they take comfort in each other. When Lauren sees them but appears to snub Terese, Terese finds her for an explanation. Lauren confesses that seeing Terese and Brad being intimate made her realise what she’s lost.

Paige is reeling in the wake of Michelle’s ultimatum that Paige and Tyler steal her a car to replace the one that Paige handed over to the police. She’s further shocked when Tyler reveals his ongoing criminal connection with Michelle and her boss, and resolves to have nothing to do with Tyler or the theft of a car. But just when she thinks she’s in the clear, Paige receives an anonymous text.

Daniel’s in shock after Amber’s confession. She tries to explain but when he discovers that Paige knew the truth before he did, it’s the final straw and he leaves. Paul comforts Daniel, encouraging him to put Amber in his past, but Daniel struggles, blasting Paige with some uncomfortable home truths before eventually finding Amber for a heart-to-heart. He can’t forgive her yet, but urges her t...

Paige is alarmed when she receives a text from Michelle demanding the stolen car money today. She debriefs with Tyler. They struggle for a solution, until he eventually claims he will fix this… somehow. Paige is left sceptical. Tyler offers to steal Michelle another car if she leaves Paige out of it. Michelle isn’t interested because Tyler is too important to the operation now.

Trapped, Paige is struggling with the deal that sees her sorting and listing stolen parts at the garage with Tyler. Their tension builds after a curious Brennan sees them working together. Wanting out of this arrangement, Paige decides it’s time to come clean to Lauren and tell her about Bailey.

Brad and Lauren are shocked to learn that Ezra Hanley has been appointed the new Acquisitions Manager of Lassiters Hotel and Complex. Ezra immediately starts to assert his power and a furious Brad and Terese go to Paul, who promises to sort him out. But when Paul confronts him, Ezra swiftly shows Paul who’s the boss.

An exhausted Terese tries to keep it together as Ezra continues to make her life hell, nit-picking her work and questioning all her managerial decisions. Brad urges her to quit, and Terese considers it, already feeling worn down by Ezra’s treatment of her. Finally, Ezra claims that some of Terese’s staff have made complaints against her, and follows it up with an inappropriate comment.

After another exhausting all-nighter stripping cars, Tyler offers to cook Paige breakfast back at his place. They’re almost busted talking about Michelle and the operation when Brennan unexpectedly drops home to pick up some paperwork. When he reveals the police think Dimato’s using legitimate businesses as fronts for the chop shop, Paige gets nervous and abruptly leaves.

With Brennan banging on the garage door, only quick thinking from Tyler avoids him and Paige being busted - he sets the scene that the two of them have been spending quality alone time together. Brennan is stunned and confronts Paige about her admission she could never be with Tyler because of what they had together.

Imogen’s ultimatum re: Amber telling Josh about the baby means Amber and Daniel have to break from their plan to wait until after the paternity test. Amber insists on telling Josh on her own, even though both she and Daniel are certain he will be very angry. Amber doesn’t want more fighting, and thinks Josh deserves a chance to vent his feelings.

Brennan seeks counsel from Toadie over Paul’s offer to help get him and Naomi together. Toadie urges caution, but also suggests that maybe Paul has changed his ways and genuinely wants to help. He asks Brennan if he’s really interested in Naomi and Brennan explains that he thinks it’s worth seeing if they can be anything more than ‘fun’, which is all they explored last time they dated.

Fresh from his disastrous day at school, Brad offloads to Lauren about his suspension, admitting his error in looking through Clem’s phone. When Ezra confronts Brad about his actions, Brad explains Clem’s text from ‘Chloe’. The name throws Ezra momentarily – something noticed by Lauren. Lauren later challenges Susan with suspending Brad unfairly.

Paige is insulted when Tyler suggests she parade around in a ‘car wash bikini’ at the garage to generate funds. She feels awkward lying to Mark about her fake relationship with Tyler. She assumes the smart suit Mark’s wearing is for work. He suggests she take the lead with Tyler because he lacks motivation. She forms an idea. Tyler apologises for his chauvinism.
