Rose discovers her car has been vandalized and suspects Melanie, a neighbor she recently turned down for volunteer work. Pauls concerns about a deal with the Quills cause tension between him and Terese, and Rose confronts Melanie. Toadie mediates the situation, but Karl, Susan, and Kyle are skeptical of Melanies guilt.
