Mark realizes he mistreated Roxy and apologizes, promising to change. After some time, Roxy agrees to forgive him. Aaron consoles David, reminding him not to judge Shaun based on Finns actions. Gary tries to help Sheila cope with Clives absence, but she refuses to forgive him.

Shaun, Finn, Mackenzie, and Harlow all face difficult decisions about their futures. Shaun must decide whether to stay or go, Mackenzie and Harlow must decide how to organize the school dance, and Finn must decide how to help Shaun. Meanwhile, Mackenzie and Shane search for clues about her missing father.

Mackenzie is struggling to come to terms with Shanes role in her familys destruction. She accuses him of trying to make up for his mistake by finding her father, but Shane denies it. They argue, and Mackenzie storms off, leaving Shane alone. Yashvi correctly guesses that the conversation is about Mackenzie and her father, and Shane reveals that he has not found him yet.

Ned, Bea, and Scarlett are at The Waterhole when Bea collapses due to an electrical shock. Ned rushes her to the hospital, leaving Yashvi alone. Yashvi eventually finds Ned and confronts him about not putting her first. Mackenzie encourages Yashvi to be honest with Ned, and Yashvi and Scarlett go to look for him.

Bea experiences chest pains and is taken to the hospital, where it is revealed she has atrial fibrillation. The news leaves Bea anxious and concerned, while the other characters react with worry and jokes. David is especially concerned and is likely monitoring Beas progress closely.

Shaun and Elly struggle to come to an agreement on co-parenting, while Karl visits The 82 bar and Kyle deals with an upcoming event. Gary teases his mother and invites her to the bar, while Roxy and Mark share a moment. Aaron and David argue, and Kyle confides in Amy about Scarletts crush

Roxy goes on a date with Mark, who insults her and makes her feel small. Harlow consoles her and encourages her to break up with him. Sheila and Gary argue over Sheila throwing wine back at Beverly, and Pierce gives Hendrix an ultimatum to either go to school or get a job.

Mark and Chloe search for their mother, Fay, and discover her Huntingtons disease has progressed. They take her home to Adelaide, where she can receive 24-hour care. Meanwhile, Yashvi worries about Ned and Dipi and Shane investigate a lead on Mackenzies dad, Grant, who works in a hardware store in NSW.

Scarlett and Ned arrive home to find Kyle and Amy on the sofa. They discuss Scarletts shopping plans and Neds relationship with Yashvi. Ned confesses he misses Yashvi, and the others offer support. Mackenzie is nervous about Grants visit, so Yashvi and Harlow offer to go with her. Dipi agrees to be in the background in case things go wrong

Ned spends the night protecting Scarlett from her ex-boyfriends threats, then goes to Yashvis to try to patch things up between them. Yashvi accuses him of cheating and breaks up with him, leaving Ned devastated. Meanwhile, Harlow and Roxy get into an argument, but it is interrupted when Terese and Paul arrive home early.

Terese and Paul investigate a hidden camera in a Lassiters Hotel room, while Toadie, Nell, and Hugo return home from the US to a warm welcome. Meanwhile, Shaun pitches his idea for a mentorship program to Finn, who is hesitant but agrees to discuss it further.

Paul and Terese discuss the secret camera situation with Donovan Ridley and are relieved to learn that the Wi-Fi transmitter is no longer functional, meaning no one could have received footage. Amy tries to convince Kyle to wait for more info before going to the police, but Kyle disagrees

Pierce struggles with his sons misbehavior and lack of respect towards him, and seeks advice from Susan. He later takes Hendrix to the hotel room he trashed and makes him clean up the mess as a way to pay off his debt. Mackenzie and Harlow discuss their night at the dance, and Mackenzie feels responsible for what happened with Hendrix. However, Harlow reassures her that she is not to blame.

Shaun and Elly kiss, but Shaun insists on leaving for Switzerland. Mark decides to leave, and Aaron jokes about him leaving post-it notes. Scarlett is questioned by Paul, and she and Ned plan to schmooze Paul and Terese. Toadie sets up Neds community service job. Bea asks Toadie to talk to Ned about Yashvi.

Aaron, Ned, Scarlett, and Susan all face different challenges. Aaron and Ned search for Rex, Scarlett worries about Neds safety, Susan deals with a new principal, and Pierce worries about Hendrixs future.

Scarlett is struggling with her feelings for Ned, who is leaving town. Meanwhile, Pierce and Hendrix are at odds, and Finn and Toadie are setting up a support group for domestic violence survivors. Ned eventually tells Scarlett that he cant pursue a relationship with her, and she is left to deal with her emotions.

Paul and Terese rush to the crash site where Hendrix is still in the car. Harlow is trapped under debris, but Paul rescues her. The press captures the scene. Finn thanks David for his therapy session and offers him a speaking opportunity at a symposium. Pierce confronts Hendrix about the crash, taking the blame himself. Hendrix visits Harlow, but their interaction is strained.

Sheila apologizes to Gary for her behavior and admits that she and Clive are not back together. David is able to attend the symposium and Scarlett gets a reference from Toadie. Paul is still annoyed with Scarlett, but Terese sympathizes with her. Ned arrives to help Scarlett with her reference.

Scarlett and Paul continue their game of cat and mouse as they try to outwit each other. Scarlett reveals her knowledge of the camera in Room 402, and Paul asks her what she wants. Terese and Pierce arrive for a meeting, and Scarlett pretends she was just delivering guest feedback

Paul and Terese are worried about Neds injury and suggest taking him to the hospital. Scarlett suggests they dont have all the facts yet, but Paul calls the police to investigate. Ned is found to have a dislocated shoulder, and Scarlett is relieved. Yashvi is struggling with her exams, so Finn suggests helping Toadie with a website.

Bea and Finns relationship is strained when Bea accidentally calls him by her exs name. Elly tries to mediate, but Finn leaves in frustration. Roxy discovers Sheilas relationship with Clive and encourages her to do something bold to get his attention. Kirsha confides in Toadie about her desire to apply for a scholarship, but her parents are hesitant due to her anxiety.

Finn anxiously awaits a call from his mom regarding the missing hikers in an avalanche. Hendrix reconnects with school, while Pierce and Terese prepare for the Melbourne Cup. Elly and Finn clash over their hopes for Shauns survival. The Cup goes missing, adding to the chaos. Hendrix observes with amusement. Harlow and Roxy stumble upon the Cup in their car.

Pierce is struggling to connect with his son Hendrix, while Sheila is suspicious of Clives relationship with Beverly. Finn learns of his brothers death and is struggling to cope with his grief. Roxy tries to console Hendrix and suggests he may have acted out to get Pierces attention, but Hendrix reacts negatively. Chloe stops Pierce from following Hendrix and advises him to keep trying.

Clive is caught kissing Beverly, leading to a confrontation with Sheila and Gary. Ned and Scarlett are interrupted by an alarm, and Yashvi worries about her exams and Neds relationship with Scarlett. Kyle, Aaron and Ned try to find out who set off the alarm, while Sheila is confident Clive will leave Beverly for her.
