Watched cause I read the book. These kids GIVE THEM THEIR AWARDS . These kids are so good and just absolutely kill it . Lox will kill it in Harry Potter. Give Winston more roles and David will kill it in Narnia and give Ike more roles too. Absolutely go watch. The cinematography is absolutely beautiful by the way too. I feel so bad for these kids. Rip my child Simon. Generally some of the best child acting I've ever seen. The soundtrack is also so eerie and fits perfectly with the story. The changes they made were fine , it worked perfectly. They also did not skip out on the gore either, definitely a top show of this year.

Great acting, chilling music, story adapted perfectly. only negative of the entire series was some lazy cgi at points.
I’m a pretty big fan of the book, so when they announced this limited series, I was immediately in. I really enjoyed the show for the most part, there were moments I questioned intentions, such as the odd camera lens choices (in my opinion). Other than that, loved Piggy, Ralph and Jack’s portrayals, absolutely did the characters justice. Though slow at times, I thought this was a great adaptation, definitely check it out if you were a fan of the book.
After a plane crash, a group of schoolboys find themselves stranded on a tropical island without adults. Ralph is elected leader and, with the help of the intelligent Piggy, strives to maintain order and civilization. Jack, responsible for the signal fire, becomes increasingly focused on hunting and power struggles. This leads to tensions within the group, gradually pushing the boys from hope and structure into chaos and tragedy.
