The Barlows and Platts convene for Adam and Sarah's wedding. Yasmeen's absence sends Geoff into a panic. Jade gets short shrift from Tyrone.

Daniel resolves to prove his devotion to Bethany. Tyrone's act of kindness misleads Jade. Geoff offers to pay for Sally and Tim's wedding.

Bethany realises the time has come to leave Weatherfield. Tyrone and Fiz unite against Jade. Adam dupes Ali into revealing his fling with Maria.

Gary reels when he runs into Adam, who can't resist sharing some information he has learnt about Maria and Ali. When Gary asks Ryan if it's true, a scared Ryan denies it. Ryan later tells Ali that he's saved his bacon. Craig vows to get fit.

Gary asks Sharon to teach Ali a lesson, and a reporter asks James about rumours regarding his sexuality circulating on social media. Roy's fellow bat-watchers are horrified by Nina's attire and deeply suspicious of her motives.

A terrified Gary leaves a message for Sharon telling her that if Ali dies, she is to blame, and James receives a worrying text from his manager. Roy resigns from the bat-watching group after some of the members' remarks about Nina's dress sense.

Ali assures Ryan that Gary, or someone hired by Windass, must have spiked his drink, and Alya confronts Geoff about her belief he is behind the nasty online reviews for Speed Daal. Aggie reveals that they've had several calls from newspapers wanting to get James's side of the story.

James lies to his Manager and Press Officer and assures them he is not gay, and Ali takes Maria on a terrifying car ride. Meanwhile, Nina wonders if Roy's ashamed to be seen with her after claiming the meeting with the bat group has been cancelled.

Geoff tries to persuade Yasmeen that Alya is out to get him, while Gary convinces Maria that he did nothing to provoke Ali and that the guy is a maniac. Audrey worries that Ken is being railroaded into moving to Stillwaters against his will, and Imran puts pressure on Toyah to find a new job.

Alya learns that Geoff and Yasmeen intend to sell up and move away. Claudia volunteers Ken to give a talk to their new neighbours. Bernie returns to find Gemma struggling to cope.

Evelyn bumps into her ex-boyfriend Arthur at the vets. Alya begs Yasmeen to leave controlling Geoff. Norris fills Ken in on life at Stillwaters.

Alya discovers Geoff has a violent past. Gemma's upset when Imogen and Vanessa lie to her.

Emma decides to play it cool with Seb. Evelyn and Arthur reminisce about how they almost tied the knot.

David discovers Shona has been in contact with Clayton. Gemma breaks down after the quads are put in danger. Yasmeen turns her back on Alya. Emma fears Seb is still into Alina. Evelyn prepares for a date with old flame Arthur, with a little help from Claudia.

It becomes clear that Gemma is not coping with motherhood and even the health visitor question her about her state of mind. But later, as the babies' crying escalates, she heads into the yard to calm herself - and realises with horror she is locked out. Alya introduces Yasmeen to a police officer who has information about Geoff - but scared, she refuses to listen and rushed out. David begs Clayton to leave Shona alone, Tyrone gives Arthur a piece of his mind for standing Evelyn up, and Norris reluctantly joins Ken for the Stillwaters' art class.

Bernie arrives to find Gemma in such a distressed state, so she agrees to move in and help with the babies - on the condition that she doesn't tell Chesney that Gemma isn't coping. Nick tries to talk to Shona but she refuses to see him, passing on a message to David instead. Arthur apologises to Evelyn and asks her to give him another chance, and Ken and Norris sneak out to the Rovers for a treat.

David is devastated about Shona's divorce request but claims it will give him a chance to move on - and when he finds Alina alone in Victoria Garden, it is clear there is a spark between them. News of a family wedding gives Alya the chance she needs to get Yasmeen away from Geoff. The only problem is, they are not invited. Bernie forces Gemma to seek medical help, Evelyn summons Claudia for another makeover and Charles is outraged to discover Ken has smuggled Eccles the dog into his apartment.

An argument in the Rovers turns to blows when David accuses Seb of being jealous of his friendship with Alina - and when Emma realises her boyfriend still has feeling for his ex, she tells him to find somewhere else to stay. Gemma plays down her depression and assures the doctor she is just exhausted, leaving Bernie frustrated by her daughter's refusal to accept help. Alya and Ryan tell Yasmeen they have been invited to Zeedan's wedding in Spain. Now all they have to do is tell Geoff, who is not on the guest list.

Geoff feigns illness to sabotage Yasmeen's plans. Seb pledges his heart to Emma. Reckless David places himself in harm's way.

Alya tackles Geoff about his lies. David flees from a group of muggers. Ken demands a copy of the Stillwaters rule book from Charles.

Yasmeen confronts Geoff with the contents of his emails, Gemma tries to be positive as Aled's hearing aid is fitted and David apologises for using Alina.

Geoff despairs as Yasmeen walks out on him, Bernie implores Chesney to keep a close eye on Gemma, and Michael attends a job interview at Underworld. David heads out for a walk, but when Gail quizzes him, he refuses to tell her where he's going.

Gemma boards the bus with the quads, but is suddenly overcome by a wave of anxiety and hurries off the bus, leaving her babies behind. The return of Rick's daughter Kelly rattles Gary, and Yasmeen consults the police about Geoff's past.

Steve regrets prioritising Emma's needs over Oliver's, Gemma returns home and finally admits to Chesney that she thinks she's a terrible mother and no longer feels in control, while Ken decides to challenge Charles' supremacy.
