Great ending. I really wished they did more with the Gen V characters. But other than that, I think everything that needed to happen, did. Now my problem is what new show do I watch now?
In a time where Super Hero IPs have gotten oversaturated - The Boys flips the genre on its head by turning the “Heros” into the shows true villians. The series also provides commentary on big business, politics, and society as a whole that make it feel relevant despite being in a fictional world. While The Boys does take a dip in quality during its last couple seasons, in its entirety it’s one of the best and more unique Super Hero shows we’ve ever gotten.
Gran Final. Me hubiera gustado mas un Scorched Earth pero este igual estuvo cabron. El final que le dieron a Butcher no me encanto, le lograron dar paz al final pero podian haberlo hecho de otra forma. Para todos los demas buen final. The Peak, se merecia mas. Y que gran choice poner Piano Man al final mientras todos se van por su lado a buscar como continuar con sus vidas. Lo que le hicieron a Gen V me cago, hicieron toda una serie para que no sirvan de ni madres. Pero al final fue un buen final, la utlima escena de Homelander estuvo impactante pero cagadisima.
I actually really enjoyed this finale. I feel like it did the show justice. I wish the dog hadn’t died that’s a minus point. Killing both Butcher and Homelander was ballsy but I think necessary. Wish we saw what happened to Sage and Ashley but glad they both lived. I loved the ending did make me cry.
Had some weak episodes after it started off strongly with episode one but it wasn't a bad season at all. I was just expecting a bit more since this was the last ever season but yeah. We got what we got.
I wouldn't say I love the ending of the show, but it was satisfactory enough to say the most. I have 2 critics: • Homelanders death was rushed and easy. • The lack of involvement from the Gen V kids. I just wanted Homelander to cause a bit more of chaos and thennnn you kill him. It was very anticlimactic. I was like "Oh, he is finally dead". I did feel sorry for him though when he was begging for his life and stuff but it was his time to go shem. He took V1 and it was supposed to make him a 100 times more powerful & immortal. He just lost wayyyy too easily and quickly for me🤷🏾♂️. Im so angry they didn't involve Marie and rest. Especially since they were constantly saying she's the most powerful one after Homelander. They could've used them. They even teased their involvement at the end of season 2 of Gen V but instead we get 3 weak appearances that don't add anything. I was disappointed man. I also loved the Butcher death scene. It was very raw and emotional. Another touching moment was when Butcher saw his brother in Hughie as they were about to kill each other. That goes to show the love and bond they have for each other. I lowkey did it find crazy and sad when he wanted to release the supe virus cause Ryan rejected him and the dog died. So was The Boys a great show from start to end? No. It had it's faults like all shows in existence. But was it a good show and tried it's best? Fosho.
there was no way they’d get this right, awful conclusion to what was an anti-climatic and extremely dull season really a shame, they had something going for them in the first few seasons
This season was a little all over the place. It had some of my favorite episodes of the whole show but also some of my least favorite. That being said, I still thought it was a great season overall. The writing was a bit inconsistent at times but the well written episodes are amazing.
This might be THE best episode of the show. They really delivered. I was hyped bouncing in my chair but also sobbing my eyes out. Everyone got an ending i was happy with and all the deaths were perfect. Only reason is its not a 10 is some of the powers felt inconsistent but besides that this episode is amazing and such a good way to finish this story
