First public conversation with the actor who portrays Jesus.

We got high with a little help from our friends at Sky Candy Studios. Literally. They helped us make this epic drone flythrough of The Chosen’s entire Texas film campus. Fasten your seat belt, and enjoy the ride. P.S. You can check out more of their work at https://skycandystudios.com. Dallas’ favorite is their aerial tour of Wrigley Field.

Together we can share the story of Jesus with the world, one episode at a time. Check out how The Chosen is turning the world teal.

Who knows (nose?) if Joey really managed to trick his cast mates or if they just played along. Either way, it was fun to see, er, smell.

Though his scene partner was a bit stiff, George (John) managed to deliver a sweeping performance.

Gary and Deena Pate have been sharing the life of Jesus in the little surf community of Montañita, Ecuador, for many years. For them, The Chosen’s been like catching a fresh wave that’s helped carry the story to new people.

In this new series, we’re calling our cast and crew to catch up with them between seasons—and we’re hitting the record button for you. These regular check-ins will keep you updated on what’s happening with the folks you know and love from the show. For this first call, Chris and Jalein had a great talk—and LOTS of laughs—with Noah James (Andrew). The conversation ranged from onset jokes to his off-set creative pursuits making music. And since Noah loves a good competition, we played some games. You can decide the winner.

In Episode 2, we catch you up with Jordan Walker Ross (Little James)—beginning with his love for cringey internet videos and collection of more than 1,700 Blu-rays. Next, we talk family life, work/life balance, and the book Jordan and his grandad, actor Barry Corbin, are adapting for film. Along with screenwriting, Jordan’s been busy recording a new slate of interviews for his “What’s Your Limp?” podcast. (Jalein may or may not have fan-girled over some of his upcoming guests.) Finally, we hear about Jordan’s recent trip to an ancient place. Enjoy!

In this call, we connect with Mitch Hudson, our 2nd 2nd Assistant Director (a confusing title, yes, but Mitch’ll tell you exactly what it means). Then he’ll catch you up on all the things—from his home life now to his teenage years in Bahrain and, finally, to his journey toward The Promised Land. That’s his new TV series; think of it as The Office meets the Exodus.

Did you know that A.D. is A.D. for an A.D. historical drama? Sounds funny, but it’s true. Adam Drake is Assistant Director for our series about Anno Domini (the year, er, years of our Lord). It’s almost like he was born for the job. In today’s call, we caught up with Adam between seasons and heard about his most important job: not AD, but DAD. He also told us about lots of other work he’s doing and has done…including his brief stint as a male model for Febreze. Enjoy!
