Ava sends Harris home ahead of the Bistro re-opening. Stefan receives a call from Clyde and learns he's taking things to the next level with the restaurant when it comes to his drug business.

John surprises an overworked Marlena by stopping by her office. Xander brings Victoria to Sarah for the custody swap. Paulina helps Chanel get ready for a date with Johnny.

Sloan and Eric have a tough night with baby Jude. After a call with Leo about Dimitri, a flustered Sloan leaves Jude. Stephanie and Harris find themselves in bed together. Stephanie and Tripp discuss what happened with Chad and Everett.

Nicole explains to EJ that Sloan left the baby. Paulina is increasingly exhausted. Chad and Stephanie officially break up. Stephanie meets up with Harris and confesses that she had no memory of the night before.

Stephanie finds herself face to face with Chad, Alex, and then Everett. Stefan tells Ava that Gabi was injured in prison, and he knows it's a warning from Clyde. Harris tries to apologize to Ava for what happened with Stephanie.

Xander and Alex get under each other's skin. Maggie struggles to get into the Christmas spirit. Rafe asks Jada if she's made up her mind about moving in with him. Andrew reveals to Theresa that he has identified her as Victoria's kidnapper.

John, Marlena, Steve, Kayla, Kate and Roman take a stroll down memory lane. Paulina's health continues to deteriorate. Johnny helps Holly celebrate her birthday.

It's time for the annual Horton tree-trimming party. Doug and Julie remember Christmases past and prepare for Christmas present. Chad and the kids arrive. Stephanie meets with Everett to help with an article he is writing.

Nicole finds Holly hung over. Stefan asks EJ for help in eliminating Clyde. Leo conveys his blackmail demands to Sloan. Paulina is given a diagnosis by Kayla. Ava fears Harris knows about her role in Clyde's drug smuggling operation.

The Kiriakis clan gathers for Christmas dinner. Sarah is reunited with Victoria. Theresa is plagued with guilt. Konstantin arrives with a surprising announcement. Chad, Harris and Everett share a meal together at the Brady Pub.

Wendy is still torn about leaving Salem. Melinda and Wendy bond over their upbringings. Rafe is upset about Gabi's imprisonment, and Jada tries to lift his spirits. Holly apologizes to Tate for her behavior.

While strolling through the park, Konstantin is abducted. Nicole has her first therapy session with Marlena. Paulina meets with Kayla to discuss her medical condition. Eric and Sloan enjoy a family day with baby Jude when Leo interrupts them.

On New Year's Eve, the residents of Salem attend a party at the Bistro. While visiting Xander, Sarah notices Victoria has a fever. Leo makes a pitch to Chad to get his column back. Chanel confides in Johnny.

Tate finds Holly a victim of tainted pills. Alex suggests Tate may have been involved with Holly's drug use. Harris questions Stefan and Ava regarding Holly. Paulina and Abe ring in the New Year together.

EJ is determined to make Tate pay for Holly's overdose. Ava and Stefan are challenged by Clyde's order. Tripp demands to know whether Ava is involved in the drug trade. EJ confronts Stefan.

Chad and Julie talk about loss and the future. Sloan is forced to deal with Leo's spending habit. Everett stumbles upon an argument between EJ and Stefan. Nicole sits vigil with Holly.

Tate digs in on his confession. John gives a glum Brady advice. Johnny and Chanel awaken from a New Year's night of lovemaking. Abe apologizes to Paulina about not being able to be intimate with her.

EJ has Tate’s bail revoked and everyone’s stunned. Tate’s scared and Theresa and Brady try and comfort him. Xander asks Sarah to move in with him. Wendy packs to leave for China and Tripp has bad news for her.

Chad confronts Ava and Stefan regarding their involvement in the drug crisis. Stephanie and Everett bond. Tripp finds Wendy still in Salem. Paulina hides her health problems.
