How consent works

  1. The user enters or confirms their own phone number.
  2. The disclosure appears before the code request.
  3. The user deliberately taps "Send verification code."
  4. Tapping "Not now" continues without sending a message.
  5. A resend occurs only when the user requests it.
  6. No marketing messages are sent.

Pretzel Rated sends one transactional message per verification-code request, plus any resend the user requests. Phone verification is optional. Users can continue with supported Apple or email authentication.
