Jordan is easily the best “new” DC character we have. Most recent stuff feels childish, so this was a real step up, hope we see more of him. The season echoes True Detective (just watched it). The tone was great, but the ending doesn’t serve the rest of the show. There was a lot of material to do something stronger. Still a great 1st season. Hope we get more like this.
_bad optics 😂_ this episode is only good because of the ending
This is a fantastic, feel-good TV show. I don’t usually gravitate toward this genre, but the writing is clever. The characters are well-developed, and the optimistic tone is exactly what makes it so special. Jokes are corny / PG13 but still manage to be funny. Worth a watch.
Perfección en una temporada. Nunca había visto a Matthew McConaughey actuar tan bien. Tremenda actuación, ningún episodio decepciona.
I really thought they where going to end the season without an explanation 💥💣
well written and painfully uncomfortable to watch
Finally, a serious superhero movie. I’ve been tired of the goofy PG-13 Marvel jokes. This one does a great job avoiding that. It also finally feels like a Spider-Man movie. In previous films he always felt like a side character. This is the first Tom Holland Spider-man i really like. Overall solid movie and great acting from Tom Holland

HARD watch. Everything about this film makes me uncomfortable. And it’s really hard to relate to the characters since they make such dumb decisions all the time.
In Christopher Nolan’s films, we rarely get to really know the small, interesting things about the characters. The performances are carried by great stories, but with so many short scenes and such densely packed storytelling, it’s hard for the actors to shine. In this film I already knew the story going in, and the actors had little room to work with. There are no long scenes or dialogues that let us sit with the characters and understand them, and for that reason it’s not a 10 for me. Everything else was perfect. Each island screen was brutally good. The shots, acting, practical effects, but I think this is the weakest character writing of his films so far.
