Bring Her Back2025

9.0 🥨

Requiem for a Dream2000

10.0 🥨

Perfect Blue1998

9.0 🥨

Perfect Blue is exactly the kind of film that reminds me why I love psychological horror so much. There’s something incredibly powerful about the way it digs into the mind, blurring reality and illusion until you’re not even sure what’s real anymore. And the fact that it’s animated makes it even more fascinating  it proves that animation isn’t just for light stories; it can explore darkness in a way that feels even more intense. The story follows Mima, a former pop idol trying to reinvent herself as an actress, but the pressure, obsession, and paranoia surrounding her start to twist her world into something nightmarish. What I admire the most is how the film never gives you easy answers. Instead, it pulls you into Mima’s confusion, making you experience her fear from the inside. I genuinely love movies that can get into your head like that. Satoshi Kon’s direction is brilliant every cut, every transition feels deliberate, almost like a puzzle you’re slowly putting together. The unsettling atmosphere, the music, and the psychological tension kept me hooked the entire time. Perfect Blue isn’t just disturbing; it’s smart, haunting, and beautifully crafted. If someone enjoys psychological horror, identity crises, or animation that pushes boundaries, this movie is a must-watch. It left me thinking long after the ending and honestly, that’s exactly why I love films like this.

Fallen Angels1995

10.0 🥨
