Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice2026
Some intriguing plot and character stuff but too many generic 2000s action/gangster tropes to make this feel interesting.

The Secret Agent2025
Was surprised how gripping and weird and specific this movie felt. I’m subscribed for anything this director does from here.
Sentimental Value2025
There’s not a single ‘off’ acting moment in this film. Great movie for sad dads who can only express themselves fully through allegorical art.
Gallipoli1981
Starts a little corny but curdles into something better and gnarlier. Weir includes 4-5 shots and bits in every movie that feel so specific and unique to him.
Against All Odds1984
Early 80s Jeff Bridges as sexy washed up NFL player is enough to carry this movie.
