It feels pretty different tonally compared to the rest and probably has less action than any other film in the series. The arctic sequence is entirely too long and takes up nearly half the movie. Not the best entry in the franchise but a fitting conclusion in its own way. My personal final rankings of the series: 1. Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning (2023) 2. Mission Impossible: Fallout (2018) 3. Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation (2015) 4. Mission Impossible (1996) 5. Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning (2025) 6. Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (2011) 7. Mission Impossible III (2006) 8. Mission Impossible II (2000)
Our lives are the sum of our choices.
