Rewatched one of my favorite movies of all time This film outweighs the first because you get to understand the depths of their feelings for eachother. That it is, in fact, not some one night stand that will either be forgotten or will end in a happily ever after. It's much more complex than that.. it is, dare i say, more realistic. I love it because it's when they realize how foolish they were 9 years ago.. acting in the spur of the moment and excitingly so.

Terminé Before Sunset. Creo que hasta ahora es mi favorita. (Todavía me falta ver la última, pero voy a esperar unos tres días o más para dejar que esta película repose un poco en mí). Los amores que se fueron, pero vuelven a encontrarse: iguales, pero diferentes. Descubrir que tu vida no terminó siendo como imaginabas, pero así es la vida, y de alguna manera todo te fue llevando hasta aquí. Mirar el pasado con nuevos ojos. Amarlo, odiarlo. Permitirte sentir. Ser humano, con emociones profundamente humanas. Tener una segunda oportunidad, aunque en realidad sea la primera. Estoy maravillado.
Nine years later, Jesse travels across Europe giving readings from a book he wrote about the night he spent in Vienna with Celine. After his reading in Paris, Celine finds him, and they spend part of the day together before Jesse has to again leave for a flight. They are both in relationships now, and Jesse has a son, but as their strong feelings for each other start to return, both confess a longing for more.
