For those of you playing the home game, Alfred placing a camera in front of a television to record is what is called Kinescope.
Because back in the day there were no vcr, dvr, or streaming. All was recorded on film. So to make copies, people recorded audio and video in a similar fashion.

Season 2 lost the plot entirely. Characters are gross imitations of themselves, so much so that it's widely offensive—and I am not THAT hard of a Batman fan. I'm a casual Bat-Guy, but dude, WHAT WAS THIS?! Season 1, I thought, was interesting and pretty fun, except for the Harley episode. At least, Season 1 was watchable! This Season 2 crap? It borders unfinishable and is in absolute forgettable territory.
