The Five-Year Engagement2012
A rom-com that is more grounded in reality than most and one of my all-time favorites. The performances and chemistry between the two leads Jason Segal and Emily Blunt is fantastic. The film also boasts a brilliant supporting cast that includes: Chris Pratt, Alison Brie, Rhys Ifans, Mindy Kaling, Kevin Hart, Chris Parnell, Randall Park, Dakota Johnson, Mimi Kennedy, David Paymer, Jacki Weaver, Brian Posehn, among many others.
Sorry, Baby2025
Eva Victor is an incredible triple threat as writer, director, and star. She’s unbelievably charming and delightful as Agnes. The movie somehow deals with heavy themes in a way that feels both authentic and strangely lighthearted and whimsical.
