Growing up in the 80’s were simply the best! This was a raunchy, unapologetic snapshot of 1950ish teen horniness, Porky’s follows a group of Florida high schoolers on a mission: get “laid”, then get even. When their scheme to visit a backwoods strip joint called Porky’s it ends in humiliation and the boys pivot from lust to lunatic revenge. The film is packed with pranks, peeping-tom gags, and enough nudity to make a priest blush, but it’s just the ridiculousness of their vendetta that takes me tf out. Think Animal House with more swamp boats and a legendary “Auuuuuuuuu…” scene . It’s crude, juvenile, and utterly predictable. But if you want mindless, locker-room comedy that never pretends to be classy, Porky’s delivers exactly what it promises: silly, sweaty, guilty fun. 9/10 Leave your brain at the door and enjoy the laughs.
