Requiem for a Dream2000
Not sure what made me watch this again but boy this is a tough movie to watch in all the right ways.

Backrooms2026
Such a fun film! The acting was A+, cinematography A+ and world building was A+ as well! Not a perfect film but truthfully very close. Should be in our top 10 of the year! Dare I say this is more enjoyable then Obsession! Can’t wait to seen where the Backrooms take us next!
The Mandalorian and Grogu2026
Such a fun summer film that needs to be seen by more people! Started off really strong hits a little bit of a rut, but ends on a high note. This is definitely a movie that you need to see in theaters with a fantastic score and a great story definitely one of the most surprising films of the year for us.
Apex2026
A little too predictable for my taste but what do you expect from a Netflix movie!! The acting wasn’t as bad as a thought and there were a few cool shots so I’ll take it!
Mortal Kombat II2026
Mortal Kombat 2 - Case of the missing Johnny Cage. Also idk if it was just my Regal but the sound design was BAD. Couldn’t pay me to rewatch this.
Obsession2026
Edit: On second watch, this was actually pretty good, went up a whole point from 7.1-8.1. I just picked up more nuanced things and instead of guessing where the movie was going, I paid more attention which increased this score. The pacing was so much quicker on rewatch too, not sure what happened but very solid movie! Wildly overhyped in my opinion. Maybe my expectations were too high but just didn't hit as hard as I was hoping. Snooze fest for the first 45 mins and bro could have got out that so much quicker, just drive away my dude. Ending felt like a cop out in a Romeo and Juliet type of way. There were some amazing shots but felt like a 35 minute YouTube that needed to me stretched for a feature length movie.
