Such a great, disturbing concept that they managed to keep relatively engaging throughout despite the inherently repetitive nature of the story. Good ensemble of actors that allowed me to invest into the various relationships which were central to the emotional heart of the story. The ending could’ve had more of an impact.

Fun and entertaining popcorn movie. Fell slightly short of being the massive Spielberg epic I perhaps (unwisely) expected. The plot felt unnecessarily convoluted throughout for what was ultimately revealed to be a relatively simple story. Lacked the gut punch effect of the enormity of such a story of the discovery of extra terrestrial life. The cgi effects really weren’t great and took me out of the movie at parts. Had the potential to be much more impactful than it was ….

Intelligently and thoughtfully crafted movie with an excellent pace that makes it effortless to stay engaged throughout. Perfectly casted ensemble of characters that allow you to invest in the stakes and relationships integral to the story. Such a stylish and enjoyable watch.
