I was very into this for the first 4 episodes, but the last two got very confusing in terms of timeline. All the skipping around made it unclear what was happening when. So much so that I didn’t realize the final episode was the final episode. I thought the story ending would be more flushed out. Definitely some incredible acting, though.
Meh. Interesting observation of a sub-culture, but didn’t really go anywhere or do anything with it.
The movie was pretty cheesy, overall, but it was fun to watch. It was raunchier than expected, and there were some unexpected laughs. I’d recommend it.
This sucked so bad. The entire thing seems staged with really bad acting. The kids barricading themselves seemed interesting, but it also felt fake. Surprisingly little time was spent on that part of the story for how much they pushed it. The whole story could have been told in about 10 minutes. We def didn’t need 2 episodes.
I wouldn’t say there is anything groundbreaking about this show, but I very much enjoyed it. All of actors are great and the characters they play are interesting and developed. The story is a little predictable and the ending is a bit anticlimactic, but if they put out another season, I’d definitely watch it.
A very interesting twist on the "be careful what you wish for" genre. Excellent acting by the female lead. Walking out of the theater, I definitley heard people saying it went too far, but they were seeing a horror movie, so maybe they should stick to church. The scenes were intense, but the body horror was minimal. Very well done, especially for an independent film.
