Kill Bill: Vol. 12003
I think the film predominantly relies on aestheticism than anything else; great unfolding of events, the pace is magnificent (coming from someone with 2026 attention span), cinematography is top tier and even the music and sound effects i found myself enjoying despite their exaggeration sometimes but i think this is what makes it so fun and gives it the Tarntino flavor. In terms of story, its quite a simple and lacks depth which i'm not fully objecting to btw. Its a movie for those who love cinema for its dramatic flare not its depth and resonance. Very violent too.
Dune2021
There is lore.. alot of it.. but WHERE IS IT The film felt like a pre-film to the actual film.. which i get—its only part 1, but if so then at least it should've properly laid down the jist and basics of the dune world if this part is only meant to prepare me for the next, right? I did enjoy it nonetheless, its been a loooong time coming, so thought id finally tune in for when the final part comes out
Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender2026
Reunited with my main baddie. The one and only. The OG. The truest crush ive ever had: Aang the avatar But now that ive grown up, i see that Zuko is so brooding-mysterious-troubled-by-his-past-daddy-issues coded so naturally he's slowly overshadowing my love for Aang
Ocean's Eleven2001
Tess going back immediately to her husband Danny is probably the most unrealistic element of the enture story Also does brad pitt stop chewing ever
The Devil Wears Prada 22026
Well we really didnt need another sequel but it wasnt as bad as i expected And fuck Al, bring back humanity's creative sensibilities
The Notebook2004
This came out the exact day i was born.. and somehow i've spent my entire 21 years of living never having seen it and never having it been spoiled to me and its one of hollywood's CLASSICS mind you. This has to be some kind of message idk, it has to mean smth. I was not sad at all.. didn't bawl my eyes out like i always thought i would, the grandparents are really annoyed me but oh how i loved the dynamic between them, so hot and intense and sweet and full of love and just so pure especially as kids. Like it truly felt like i was watching two different films. Its so problematic on many levels but i chose to see past that for the sake of enjoyment. Also the evolution of ryan gosling is crazy.. like actually astounding..
Gone Girl2014
Why do i recall ben affleck being a better than he is here? Fuck marriage anyway everyday i found more reason not to get married
Jennifer's Body2009
I like the premise of eating boys and the general vibes are fun as well as the visuals but the actual story feels poorly structured and i didnt feel invested in it
The Drama2026
Underwhelming. Didn’t live up to the hype the marketing campaign created
My Best Friend's Wedding1997
The only thing i enjoyed about ttis film was julia roberts’ hair
