people are people
films that remind us life itself is a story, even when nothing happens. just people being people, existing, living, and letting life happen.

yorgos lanthimos ranked
my ranking of yorgos lanthimos films, because his weird greek magic deserves proper appreciation. also shoutout to vasilis marmatakis who does those incredible posters that somehow capture exactly how each film feels without spoiling anything.

widely praised films i don't connect with
films that have achieved widespread acclaim or popular success, but don't connect with me as a viewer. not all the films here are bad. for example, woody allen is one of the most acclaimed writers out there, but to me, all his films just sound terrible, especially his acting, which i can't stand, but that’s just my opinion. films like 1917 and gladiator: both are widely loved and respected, but while i can appreciate the craft, they just don’t do it for me.

What I Watched in 2021
It’s gonna be difficult to watch a lot of films like the last year since I'm discovering new TV shows, the world of Anime and Videogames. Really worth it though. Last year I made a list of all the (500+) films I watched during quarantine but my dumbass accidentally deleted it, it happens.
