i'm proudly speechless and it happens so rarely so i won’t loose my time and energy (i proceed to do it) trying to find words to describe and express how much i loved this entire movie and how bad i will recommend it to all my friends in the next coming days. from now on this is one of my favorite movies cuz it was refreshing and graceful to see how deeply i was invested in every single aspect, from the story and plot to the acting, which was (and i say this with every fiber of my being) absolutely impeccable.
the fragmented chronology and the deliberately long cuts felt purposeful, never vague or meaningless and the sheer chaos that unfolds from the beginning to the end only made it all more captivating. Tarantino showed that he knows what he is doing and played with these little rules (beginning, development and conclusion) so many times in this film and it could go really and easily wrong real fast but it ended up bringing a confusing at first but cohesive work. in addition to the chaos that was always happening, the dialogues and monologues rich in detail and authenticity always managed to match this said chaos and everything around, bringing me a different experience from what is my comfort zone and what i have always been watching. this is why and what i liked the most. overall it’s an 8 or 80 film in which the key to everything is to be really attentive and committed to watching it because it is too easy to love it just as it is easy to hate it (shame on you if you do tho).
this is a film entitled to 5 stars and an orange heart from Quentin Tarantino for me and my biggest flex was that i knew part of the Ezekiel 25:17 that Jules said.
